Who you are
- We’re looking for a proactive, flexible, and hands-on writer to join our global team and help us grow our financial products at Pismo
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing
- 5+ years of experience designing user experience content for user interfaces
- Bachelor’s degree in technical writing, computer science, or a related field or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of technical writing standards and common style guides
- Proficiency with various authoring, CMS, and task management tools. Readme, Confluence, and JIRA are preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional team members at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, learn new skills quickly, and balance multiple projects
What the job involves
- The DevEx Content team is responsible for ensuring external developers are successful when integrating with and using the Pismo platform.
- As a Senior UX/Technical Writer on the Developer Experience Content team, you will collaborate with experts across the company to write user experience copy and developer guides, edit API reference documentation, and support the creation of style and design guides that help developers achieve success on the Pismo platform. You’ll partner with design, product management, and engineering teams to address ongoing documentation needs and use UX best practices to lead and provide input on design decisions
- You’ll help shape the future of the product by creating internal documentation and best practices around user experience and content design
- You’ll also collaborate with other writers to define standards and practices for writers and engineers at Pismo
