  • Experience of working with talent/social media and/or podcasts previously is ideal

  • Previous experience within a revenue-driven environment is ideal, as this role will help accelerate Acast's continued commercial success
  • A confident communicator with the ability to manage and nurture relationships with podcast talent, agency networks and clients/advertisers
  • You will also be collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders so someone who believes in team work making the dream work is a must
  • The ability to manage multiple campaigns of varying sizes and complexity simultaneously is preferred
  • A love of podcasts is a must!

What the job involves

  • Reporting to Director of Sales, Ireland, this role sits within the Irish commercial team and is essential to making sure that our advertisers and our podcasters have the best commercial experience with Acast once booking a campaign. This is a 12 month fixed term contract
  • Whilst this is not a revenue generating role it’s critical in the optimization of our sales cycle and retention and growth of our advertising revenue
  • The Campaign Manager will work directly with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of a campaign to management stage
  • This role is responsible for ensuring that our during and post sale campaign management , sponsorships and all commercial deliverables are of the highest standard
  • Agency & Client liaison: leading on the external conversations that are necessary to produce and report principally on sponsorship campaigns and ad campaigns as well as some branded content activations too
  • Podcaster & talent liaison: leading on the podcaster briefing process and timeline management of all commercial deliverables from our podcasters. Ensuring all commercial assets are of 1) a super high standard, 2) are delivered within timelines, so there are no campaign delays, whilst 3) maintaining exceptional relationships throughout with our podcasters and our agencies and clients
  • Campaign Delivery: working alongside Ad Ops, you will be on top of the day to day management and reporting on campaign performance. You will troubleshoot and problem solve where needed, updating the sales team with further escalations if necessary, as well as reporting on campaigns that have performed particularly well, creating opportunities to upsell. You will need to be able to manage multiple campaigns of varying sizes and complexity simultaneously
  • Campaign Performance: If campaign amends are needed you will work with the Sales team to make sure the necessary changes are made
  • Campaign Reporting & Analysis: When a campaign has finished and reporting is due, you will lead on creating and delivering the post campaign analysis. Providing insight, data and support on brand study creation alongside the planner and seller
  • Podcaster Payments: as dedicated by the billing type, at times you will be required to work closely with finance and your manager to make sure that our podcaster payments for commercial work are correct and paid on time Various other tasks: as a small high performing team, you will be required to do other tasks and projects from time to time

The Acast is the platform is used by worldwide brands such as the Guardian, BBC, HuffPost, VICE, Vougue and the Financial Times. It enables creators and advertisers to foster meaningful relationships with listeners, while giving anyone access to insightful, educational, and entertaining audio content.

In 2021, Acast acquired competitor RadioPublic, making Acast the biggest podcast platform in the US. With this acquisition, Acast will bring more features to its platform including the ability for podcasters to set up dedicated websites for their shows and a targeted text messaging feature.
