Who you are

  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in software sales and a strong desire to contribute to the sales culture in an early-stage startup
  • Proven experience in a B2B Account Executive role (2+ years), preferably within a startup or high-growth environment
  • Track record of >100% quota attainment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and stakeholders at all levels
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

What the job involves

  • Cypris is seeking an Account Executive to join our sales team
  • As a Senior Account Executive, you will focus on targeting, prospecting, sourcing, and closing deals with top R&D teams
  • Spearhead the growth & adoption of Cypris’s software by overachieving quarterly quotas
  • Ensure transparency in revenue performance by actively managing a pipeline of opportunities and monthly forecasts
  • Present and demonstrate our products and solutions to potential clients, effectively communicating their value and benefits
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring mutual satisfaction and long-term partnerships
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to represent our brand and expand our reach

  • The process depends on the role. For all positions, we’ll start with an introduction call with our Talent team
  • From there, the interview process will vary by role
  • We typically do a longer call with one of our team members who can appropriately vet your skills & "speak your language" - on the engineering side, this might mean some technical questions, while on the sales side, we’ll ask you to build a quick presentation about yourself
  • Finally, we’ll check over a few references. If you’re near one of our offices, we may give you the opportunity to meet in person
