Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern web development and a passion for creating high-quality, educational software
- In this role, you will collaborate with a team of developers, designers, and product managers to deliver exceptional learning experiences for children
- Your work will not only involve writing clean and efficient code but also contributing to the overall product lifecycle, from discovery and planning to implementation and maintenance
- Several years of experience in modern web development with JavaScript and React
- Familiarity with agile methodologies
- Strong sense of clean code, best practices, and high quality
- Excellent communication skills and a team-player mentality
Desirable
- Experience in mobile development for iOS and Android, including related technologies like Fastlane and Turbo
- Knowledge in QA, BrowserStack, and cross-device testing
- Experience in game development (e.g., Rive, Phaser)
- Knowledge of Ruby on Rails
- Experience with the whole product lifecycle (discovery, refinement, planning, implementation, deployment, maintenance)
- Experience with Continuous Deployment

- At sofatutor, you will work on an online platform that enables over one million students to learn through play with videos, exercises, and learning materials, and you will shape the future of digital learning and teaching together with us
- As a Frontend Engineer (gn) in Team Yellow, you will be largely responsible for implementing new features in sofatutor KIDS, our early learning product, thus supporting the team in the further development of this new and fun product
- As a Frontend Engineer (gn) for Team Yellow at sofatutor, you will play a key role in shaping the future of digital learning for children
- Your main focus will be on developing and enhancing the sofatutor Kids platform, which is designed to provide engaging and educational experiences for young learners
- You will work closely with a dedicated and passionate team, using your expertise to create new features and improve the platform’s functionality
- Your contributions will directly impact the educational journey of countless students, helping them to learn in a fun and interactive way
- Building features for our product sofatutor KIDS
- Review of pull requests from your team members
- Ensuring platform stability and performance through test writing and cross-device testing
- Fix bugs
- Ensuring modernization and codebase health
