Who you are
- We’re looking for fintech enthusiasts to join us in creating the financial infrastructure of tomorrow
- Previous work experience from related, fast-paced work environments in the financial industry is a plus
- Availability for a 4 - 6 month internship
- Eagerness to learn & passion for the Fintech industry
- Experience with customer-centric sales processes and customer communication
- Enrolment in or completion of a degree in a Business Administration, Finance course, or a related field
- Previous work experience from related, fast-paced work environments is a plus
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Love for challenges and a strong sense of responsibility
- Eligibility to work in Germany and relocate to Berlin
What the job involves
- The Growth team at Upvest is driving our go-to-market activities and is responsible for Upvest's topline. Our mission is to become the Investment-as-a-Service category leader for Europe's leading brokers, banks, wealth managers, and non-financial platforms

- Contribute to the evolution of our Business Development by bringing your knowledge and passion to support our go-to-market in the upcoming months, and potentially beyond:
- Strategize and Innovate: Contribute to the development of dynamic outbound strategies and craft meaningful pitches that captivate potential customers, driving our business growth
- Optimize Sales Performance: Utilize data-driven analyses to design and implement initiatives that enhance the efficiency and productivity of our sales team, ensuring we focus on the right things in our high-growth phase
- Collaborate Across Departments: Engage in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with both external stakeholders (clients, partners, etc.) and internal teams (product, finance, legal, etc.) to support and align strategic objectives
- Lead Market Research Efforts: Conduct independent market research to uncover, gather, manage, and analyze trends and business opportunities, providing valuable insights that influence our strategic direction

Our take
Upvest is a fintech startup that empowers financial services companies to provide their customers with access to a full range of financial assets, including stocks, ETFs and crypto products. Upvest's investment API integrates seamlessly with its customers existing systems and is designed to scale easily, freeing companies from the need to develop their own brokerage and custody infrastructure from scratch.
As one of the few companies in Germany that is licensed for both the custody of traditional securities and crypto, Upvest is able to provide its services across Europe. Its solution has been readily adopted by some major players in the space including Ginmon, Vivid and ABN AMRO.
Upvest is backed by a number of Europe's largest tech VCs (Earlybird, Notion Capital, Partech, HV Capital, ABN AMRO Ventures) alongside American investment monolith BlackRock. In 2023 it closed a VC investment round which the company has claimed is one of the largest in the German fintech arena. Its impressive capital raise will go some way to achieving Upvest's goals of profitability as it expands into the US market.
