Who you are

  • 5+ years of experience in Program Management at a technology company, preferably SaaS with experience in the Data & AI or Cloud Infrastructure space
  • Ability to distill complex technical information and convey it to different audiences
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and principles, with experience in leading Agile ceremonies
  • Proficiency in dependency management across teams and projects
  • Experience in Agile planning tools and software such as Atlassian Products suite
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills, demonstrating the ability to analyze and help teams break down Programs into milestones
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and lead through influence
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

What the job involves

  • We’re looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to join Procore’s Construction Intelligence & Runtime Platform Solution TPM team
  • In this role, you'll drive the full product life cycle from inception to launch for key SaaS Operations, Platform Foundation, and Data initiatives
  • As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will apply technical and program management expertise to lead cross-functional teams and manage key work streams related to the AI, Analytics, Search and Data Technology portfolio
  • The Senior Technical Program Manager will lead both large, cross-division functional teams and projects as well as narrow, strategic projects within the Construction Intelligence & Runtime Platform Technology team
  • All will affect the organization’s long-term goals and objectives
  • The role requires routinely exercising independent judgment to determine the best methods for accomplishing work and achieving objectives
  • This position reports to the VP of Engineering for Construction Intelligence & Runtime Platform and will be based in the Austin, TX Procore office
  • Lead and drive all program activities for assigned initiatives. This includes dependency management, risk mitigation, change control, and communication of project status to senior management and cross-functional stakeholders across the Product & Technology organization
  • Drive continuous Engineering Planning and manage company resources to develop achievable short-term goals in support of longer-term strategic product development plans
  • Establish program operating rhythms leading cross-functional meetings and fostering teamwork. Quickly and effectively identify and clarify the critical few issues and drive appropriate decisions and actions. Communicate results clearly and in actionable form
  • Communicate progress and report status, providing relevant insights across organizational boundaries and levels from individual contributors to senior executives
  • Manage and track program execution to ensure successful, high-quality, on-time delivery by working through risks, and interdependencies
  • Anticipate, recognize, and work through resistance or setbacks independently, and work well with others when conflicts arise. See opportunities, ensure alignment with objectives, find common ground, and promote understanding of alternative viewpoints before driving for closure and cooperation
  • Partner with other Technical Program Managers to define, socialize, and implement organization-wide processes
