  • 5+ years of relevant communication strategy/execution experience in a direct sales, B2B organization (bonus points for experience in media/ad sales)
  • Experience in identifying and telling highly data-driven stories gleaned from first- and third-party data
  • A proven track record of working collaboratively with sales
  • Solid analytical and critical thinking skills with proven expertise in problem solving
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills; Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to negotiate event/sponsorship activation

What the job involves

  • We are seeking a Manager, Ads Marketing/Sales Development to own our B2B/advertiser marketing strategy, content, events and execution
  • You’ll work in partnership with the Direct Sales Team to establish our key sales narratives, define priority customer segments, and external content and event strategies
  • Your focus will be on telling the NewsBreak story in compelling, creative, and impactful ways to advertisers who focus across the sales funnel
  • Develop and own the advertiser marketing strategy and execution across all channels to drive consideration and purchase intent
  • Support all B2B marketing initiatives and strategies, sales and marketing collateral, digital marketing, social media marketing, sales insights, and customer development
  • Develop and manage ad industry PR efforts and relationships
  • Create and write compelling and persuasive sales tools and communication to help sales teams outreach and pitch
  • Manage the brand across social media platforms by creating appropriate B2B focused handles, identities, and content
  • Coordinate and manage the company’s engagement in industry events, conferences, and sponsorships
