What the job involves

  • As we continue to grow, we are excited to add a Strategic Sales & Analytics VP (UK) to our global team
  • SharkNinja are looking for SSA Country VP to join our team
  • They will be responsible for the planning and execution of activities to support the Commercial Team in delivering against commercial objectives
  • In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, optimizing sales processes, and leveraging data-driven insights to enhance our competitive advantage in specific categories
  • Implement and execute the new SSA operating model in the country. Ensure the whole country organization embraces obsessed with a Winning mindset
  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and increase market share in targeted categories
  • Provide strong leadership, guidance and a healthy challenge to the sales and marketing teams, setting clear objectives, performance metrics, and expectations
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and operations to ensure alignment of sales strategies with product offerings and market positioning
  • Leading a team of category commercial directors to drive weekly trading reviews, actions, decisions to ensure we are responding to market development on a weekly cadence
  • Holding together country product portfolio, pricing, channel ranging and product life cycle across more multiple product categories
  • Governance around category-specific sales forecasts, budgets, and promotional spending
  • Work with teams across the business to execute against the NPD launch
  • Influencing collaborating on the future product roadmap to ensure that each category will grow profitably YoY
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the sales organization
  • Mentor and develop sales team members, providing coaching and support to help them achieve their full potential
  • Constantly evolve as an individual and be experienced in fast paced environments, not afraid of the unknown

Consumer demand for new and better home appliances continues to grow. SharkNinja serves this demand by designing and manufacturing innovative home goods and devices. Specifically, it has a growing line of solutions that consist of Shark cleaning and home care products and Ninja kitchen appliances.

SharkNinja has been in operation since 1994, which is testament to the quality and popularity of its products. Since its initial launch in Canada, the company has expanded into the US and the UK. In 2017 SharkNinja was bought by CDH Private Equity for over $1.5 Billion, further proof of its impressive market value. Perhaps more evidence is that it brings in annual revenues of around $4B.

SharkNinja’s main challenge is facing down big-name competitors such as home appliance giant Dyson. In fact, through innovative design, it seized the market-leading spot in traditional vacuums from Dyson and is only second to iRobot in sales of robotic models. A 2023 IPO saw an extra $296 million in funding added to SharkNinja's pot and was followed by product launches in new sectors such as air conditioning and food cooling, indicating that the company is still full of new product ideas.
