Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
  • 2 – 5 years of experience in data analysis, consumer insights, or a related field
  • 2 – 5 years of experience working with transaction, SKU or other alternative data sets
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other data analysis tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data
  • Excellent communication skills, with the capability to distill complex concepts into clear, actionable insights
  • Experience with market research methodologies and consumer behavior analysis
  • Familiarity with forecasting models and back testing frameworks is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and under the guidance of leadership
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously

What the job involves

  • As a Data Analyst you will work directly under the guidance of the VP of Data Evaluation and Analytics
  • This position is critical for extracting, analyzing, and interpreting data to uncover consumer insights, support strategic initiatives, and contribute to our commitment to innovation in consumer insights offerings
  • The role demands a blend of analytical prowess, technical skills, and strategic thinking to support our leadership in making data-driven decisions
  • Data Analysis and Insight Generation: Utilize SQL, Python, and other analytical tools to extract and analyze data from various sources. Develop insights that drive business strategies and enhance consumer understanding
  • Support Strategic Initiatives: Work closely with the VP of Data Evaluation and Analytics to support the development and execution of strategic planning initiatives. Contribute to the evaluation of new data sets and the integration with existing data assets
  • Automation and Efficiency: Assist in developing and refining automation frameworks for data evaluation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in data partnership decisions
  • Client and Team Engagement: Engage with internal teams to translate data insights into actionable business strategies. Support a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team
  • Reporting and Performance Tracking: Create reports and dashboards to visualize data insights and track key performance indicators in alignment with company goals
