Who you are

  • 5-7 years of experience in the B2C marketing space with both digital and traditional media experience
  • Demonstrated success as a Brand Manager who has a comprehensive understanding of all elements of the marketing mix. You must possess a multidisciplinary skill set
  • You are an exceptional communicator who embodies storytelling skills, including written, verbal, and numeric communication
  • An ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy and ownership
  • Your work is rooted in facts and data aligning to brand KPIs

What the job involves

  • We are looking for a multi-disciplinary Brand Marketing Manager to join our growing team
  • In this role you will plan, execute, and manage integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, ensuring consistency in GameChanger brand messaging and visual identity
  • This is an exciting new role within our organization and will report into the VP of Marketing
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives across all consumer touchpoints and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure cohesive brand messaging and impact
  • Create compelling brand narratives and messaging that resonate with our target audience of athletes, coaches, fans and sports organizations
  • Partner with our internal studio team on content creation and campaign execution to and effectively communicate the GameChanger brand story to our target audience
  • Support the marketing and expansion of the GameChangers advertising product within the industry, collaborating closely with Dick's Sporting Goods and working cross-functionally with sales, operations, and product teams to drive success
  • Enhance brand activations with partners such as Major League Baseball and Little Leagues by creating memorable experiences through collaborative initiatives, marketing campaigns, and events
  • Track and measure brand health by managing and analyzing data from the Brand Health Tracker study, ensuring continuous monitoring of key performance indicators and providing actionable insights to guide strategic decisions

Our take

The competitive nature of sports has always been driven by scorekeeping, and nowadays results are often consumed online. However, for smaller teams it can be difficult to provide this information digitally, as they do not have dedicated web development staff.

GameChanger provides a scorekeeping and statistics platform for sports teams to engage with their fans, that allows viewers to track the progress of a game in real-time similar to with professional sports. The company also embeds a live-streaming service into the platform to facilitate remote viewing, helping to increase audience engagement.

Whilst some sports teams already stream events on platforms such as Twitch and Youtube, most do not have the technical resources to achieve this. GameChanger has recognized this gap in the market, providing a simple yet unified platform for sports scoreboards and streaming, providing a fair opportunity for any team to maximize their community engagement.
