What the job involves

  • The Physical Security Business Partner is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring security related aspects of Bolt operating assets
  • Additionally, they will manage stakeholder expectations through monthly data syncs and reporting
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential risks associated with business operations, projects, products, or initiatives
  • Assist the business in evaluating risk factors such as financial, operational, legal, regulatory, reputational, and strategic risks
  • Assist the business in developing risk management strategies and recommend proactive measures to mitigate identified risks, including the development and implementation of risk control frameworks
  • Monitor and track key risk indicators (KRIs) to assess the effectiveness of risk mitigation efforts and to proactively identify emerging risks
  • Prepare and present risk reports and findings to senior management, highlighting key risk exposures, trends, and recommended actions
  • Provide guidance and support to business units on risk-related matters, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies

They face a similar to challenge to Uber in that no company in this space has established a profitable business model that isn't propped up by investors with deep pockets. Creating a sustainable model that's better for drivers than Uber is the way Bolt can win
