What the job involves

  • Be the user's advocate: Continuously learn about user needs through your user research toolbox, conducting interviews and user tests
  • Value focus: embrace and embody the differentiated language and framework of value – inputs, outputs, outcomes and impact – , with practice (and help others practice) of qualitative and quantitative validation and verification of demonstrable value-unlocking for customers and colleagues
  • Discovery and Delivery: helping us balance discovery and delivery, and develop criteria for where discovery (e.g. pre-delivery usability research) is critical, and “discovery-thru-delivery” is prudent or possible (i.e. good enough design, put in hands of customers, iterate)
  • Contribute to product vision and strategy: Work to understand and implement the current product vision, strategy and principles, and collaborate to evolve them as we learn about the opportunities and needs of customers
  • Collaborate on product roadmap: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders in an Agile environment to define and iterate the product roadmap, providing strategic insights with User Journey and Opportunity Tree Mapping
  • Own the product experience: Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to shape and refine the product life cycle, working with Lean UX product principles
  • Prototype and test rapidly: Design and create prototypes and wireframes using Figma and other tools, keeping business impact and customer needs in focus
  • Drive clarity in ambiguity: Extract actionable insights from complex problems, balancing customer and business needs, and practicing effective UX reviewing
  • Improve our Design System: Work with the engineering team members to work on system components, ensuring adherence to usability heuristics
  • Be a strong peer: In design review sessions, you support the team's growth and continuous learning
  • We distill the business objectives of our enterprise customers to identify their workforce skills gaps and design targeted skill-building programs
  • These programs are delivered at scale with efficacy and a differentiated curriculum, resulting in behavioral changes that create a demonstrable impact on those business objectives
  • Mission Parameters
  • Pioneer a happier work life for professionals by revolutionizing organizational development
  • Empower organizations by delivering innovative power skill learning solutions, organized into specialized academies
  • Deploy capability academies that are meticulously aligned with market-driven demands, organizational objectives, and evolving learning needs

  • Combine high-impact solutions with digital tools for flexible and efficient learning

Our take

Lepaya is an edtech company which was established with the belief that the right training at the right time is paramount to making organisations more productive. They provide training via a hybrid learning model, combining bite-sized online content with group sessions led by experienced trainers.

Lepaya combines "hard" skills with "soft" skills, which they call "power skills" training. Lepaya has worked with scale-ups such as Mollie, Picnic and Bynder as well as multinationals such as L’Oréal, Microsoft and KPMG.

The global training and development sector is worth billions. With its 2023 funding boost (the largest annual funding raise in its sector) and 2022 acquisition of UK-based SpeakFirst, Lepaya aims to drive its mission to make fast-growing companies more productive by upskilling their workforce. Lepaya will use the funding and acquisitions to further expand into European markets such as the UK, Germany, and the Nordics.
