Who you are

  • We’re seeking an experienced Strategic Partnerships Manager to join our Bolt Business team in London
  • You will have experience with both small and large tech companies, confidently exploring all use cases for Bolt’s products with partners across the globe
  • The position requires ambition, drive, and confidence, as well as a necessity to bring expertise in building strong and robust partnerships
  • It’ll be a perfect match for you if you’re a proactive individual with a passion for driving business growth and a proven track record in high-growth B2B partnerships
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a Strategic Partnerships Role at a tech company
  • You possess a strong sense of ownership, driving projects forward independently while maintaining focus on achieving key objectives
  • You can effectively communicate in English and the local language, efficiently network, and build meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • You have a proven track record in identifying, initiating, negotiating, and finalising significant partnership agreements
  • You are experienced in uncovering new business opportunities arising from product changes and market trends
  • You demonstrate the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and navigate intricate solutions with both internal and external parties
  • Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity

What the job involves

  • As a Strategic Partnerships Manager at Bolt Business, you will be pivotal in driving our growth strategy by identifying and cultivating impactful partnerships and initiatives, as well as optimising our existing relationships
  • You will be responsible for growing and maintaining a robust portfolio of partnerships, skillfully navigating complex relationships, negotiating high-value contracts, and devising innovative solutions to maximise performance
  • You’ll manage a wide range of partnership types, using our state of the art API connectivity, from online travel agents to global aggregators
  • Maintain and build the strategic partnership portfolio by identifying growth opportunities, offering product guidance, and providing first-tier technical support
  • Lead on building and delivering on new partnerships types, in line with Bolt Business’ strategy and growth trajectory
  • Build a pipeline of suitable partnership opportunities from across the globe, mapping new commercial arrangements and deal types and understanding product gaps and improvements
  • Work closely with senior management and teams in product, legal, operations and sales to shape our efforts to meet the needs of our future partnership requirements
  • Deliver quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with strategic partners to drive performance and identify growth levers

Bolt is another company in the competitive ride-sharing market that's trying to take market share away from Uber in London and Europe more broadly. They operate in 100 cities and have over 25 million customers

Their strategy is to focus on markets where Uber used to have a monopoly and then they come in with a better offering for drivers

Bolt has the ability to grow aggressively for now as they're well financed. They face a similar to challenge to Uber in that no company in this space has established a profitable business model that isn't propped up by investors with deep pockets. Creating a sustainable model that's better for drivers than Uber is the way Bolt can win
