Who you are

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Experience with modern, object-oriented languages and frameworks
  • Experience with Javascript and modern front-end frameworks (React, etc.)
  • Experience building and supporting production quality software
  • Experience with AWS, relational databases, REST APIs, MVC Architecture, and OOP principles
  • +1 for Nest.js experience
  • +1 for product design experience and an eye for good UX

What the job involves

  • Engineers at Nayya build and maintain all parts of our stack, from user interfaces to backend services to data science pipelines and the infrastructure that runs them
  • At Nayya, you can have a tremendous impact by creating the best way for millions to choose and navigate their benefits through our software, data, and AI engine. We have a ton of interesting problems to solve around scaling web applications, linking messy heterogeneous data sets, machine learning, NLP, distributed systems, data pipelines, data analytics and predictions, system reliability, security, privacy, and more
  • Design and build new features for our core products
  • Collaborate closely with product and commercial to continuously innovate on Nayya products
  • Build products that scale with our rapidly growing user-base
  • Maintain and monitor application infrastructure and quality
  • Improve existing applications' functionality, speed, and reliability
  • Work with other Nayya employees to find new product opportunities
  • Be a part of the decision-making process as it relates to scaling the company and our products
  • Provide technical expertise to promote business development efforts

Our take

Nayya helps employers promote smart benefit choices amongst their workforce. Nayya's tools use AI and data science to process consumer data points, claims data and medical carrier information in order to return benefit recommendations and automated healthcare claims assistance to the end-user.

Nayya is filling an innovative market niche: whilst 85% of employees would welcome help selecting the right benefits, companies often struggle to offer it. Nayya is responding to this demand by securing partnerships with leading national employers, tech partners, and insurance carriers/brokers to help employers maximize the results of their health benefits spend by ensuring employees are getting the insurance they need.

Nayya has secured a high degree of investment since its founding, which the company is using to expand its software features, aiming to tap the freelancer and sole trader market. It's expanding further into other benefits that companies offer their workers, for instance in life insurance and mental health services. With a rapidly growing customer base, numerous partnerships and its annual revenue tripling over 2022, Nayya looks comfortably set to stabilize its market-leading position in the years ahead.
