Who you are

  • The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, consultative environment and enjoys taking ownership, building deep client relationships, and turning insights into action
  • 5+ years of experience in digital media sales, account management, or paid social strategy
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong understanding of the customer marketing funnel, auction dynamics, and digital advertising landscape
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and visual - with a strong ability to craft and present narratives that drive action
  • Highly analytical; comfortable translating data into client-facing insights
  • Motivated self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and fast-paced environments
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and strong understanding of performance measurement and attribution

What the job involves

  • As a Client Account Executive, you will have end-to-end ownership to, grow and retain your book of business across the Goods segment
  • You will drive strategic conversations, guide campaign execution, and partner cross-functionally to help advertisers succeed on Reddit
  • You'll work closely with a team of Account Strategists to scale your impact across a dedicated book of business
  • Own and grow a book of mid-market advertisers, acting as the main point of contact for both clients and agencies
  • Drive advertiser activation, retention, and revenue growth through thoughtful client consultation, performance analysis, and solution-oriented storytelling
  • Initiate and lead strategic sales conversations using market trends, performance data, and industry context to advise clients on how to scale on Reddit
  • Work with Account Strategists to implement and optimize campaigns to achieve your clients’ advertising objectives across performance and brand campaigns
  • Monitor and report on key campaign metrics, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Identify and communicate product feedback and market insights to cross-functional teams to influence Reddit’s go-to-market strategy
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to hit and exceed quarterly revenue targets
  • Cultivate strong client relationships with a customer-first mindset, balancing client priorities with Reddit best practices and long-term success planning
  • Serve as a foundational hire shaping scaled sales methodologies and best practices for the Client Account Executive role
