Role

Who you are

  • Proficiency in analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Snowplow, Looker). Technical ability to understand what’s going on under the hood of these tools
  • Experience with data collection, transformation, and visualisation
  • Demonstrable experience with web analytics, tracking, and AB testing in the E-commerce space
  • Experience working with cloud data warehouses such as BQ, Redshift, Snowflake
  • Experience managing BI tools such as Looker, Tableau
  • Proficient in SQL, Python, and other programming languages a bonus
  • Familiarity with tools such as Fivetran a bonus
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders across different departments
  • Ability to analyse complex data and derive actionable insights
  • Strategic thinking to align analytics initiatives with business goals
  • Understanding of product development processes
  • Ability to manage product-related aspects of analytics tools
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where things move quickly and we need to react accordingly

What the job involves

  • We’re seeking a skilled, experienced and technical Digital Analytics Lead to join our Data function
  • You’ll lead the Data Team’s Digital Squad in driving our Digital Analytics roadmap and ensuring the business has the data capabilities it needs
  • You’ll bridge the gap between analytics and technical implementation, ensuring seamless integration of our Analytics stack
  • This multifaceted position combines elements of digital analytics and product management
  • Lead and manage the Digital Squad, including sprint planning and execution
  • Foster collaboration and effective communication within the team
  • Define and own the digital analytics roadmap
  • Align analytics initiatives with business goals and priorities
  • Own the end-to-end tracking implementation
  • Manage associated tools (GTM, Appsflyer etc) for data collection and transformation
  • Own Looker dashboards, ensuring they provide actionable insights
  • Maintain and optimise underlying data models in LookML
  • Drive AB testing efforts to improve user experience and business outcomes
  • Oversee Product and Technical Web Analysts
  • Foster their growth and technical development
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to address specific business questions or challenges
