Financial Controller, Gatekeeper

• Be a confident self-starter who enjoys creating processes from scratch as well as reengineering current working practises
• A fully qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar environment
• A strong track record of financial management and reporting
• Knowledgeable and comfortable with SaaS financials and metrics
• A natural team player and lifelong learner

• Love solving complex problems and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Be exceptionally diligent and detail-oriented
• Be well versed with tools such as Xero, Dext, ApprovalMax, NetSuite, or similar
• Confident and experienced with creating, re-engineering and implementing new processes
• The ability to work autonomously and efficiently with strong prioritisation skills
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Ability to work with an agile, highly distributed team
• A sense of humour and lust of life

• As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for improving and streamlining financial processes and developing a framework to support future growth
• The role will be supported by our external accountancy partners for monthly and year end financial reporting
• As a new role, this is an exciting opportunity to establish best practice and innovative solutions across all of Gatekeeper's finance processes
• Develop and implement a robust framework and review existing processes across the finance function with a view to improving efficiency, automation, control and scalability
• Working with the Senior Leadership team, produce regular budget forecasts for each area of the business
• Work closely with the CFO to meet and monitor internal budgets, collaborating with department Heads to ensure effective budget management
• Control and input the monthly payroll process
• Assist with commission and bonus calculations
• Manage renewals and revenue invoicing and collections
• Own the credit control process
• Cash flow monitoring and reconciliations
• Work closely with an external accountancy firm to produce financial statements such as monthly management accounts, budgets, cash flows and forecasting
• Identify opportunities to optimise the Finance tech stack, seeking efficiencies and greater automation
• Administer the Company’s banking platforms
