Role

Who you are

  • You have excellent communication skills, both oral and written; you know how to make complex things feel simple (you have experience doing presentations to C-level stakeholders)
  • You already have at least one full time relevant experience,1-5 years, in IT project management (ideally SaaS B2B) or have an Engineering Degree from a leading institution
  • Being certified in PM certifications such as CAPM, PMP or Prince2 is a plus
  • You are dynamic, humble, curious and eager to learn, always looking to expand your fields of expertise
  • You show leadership by being proactive and taking ownership of your work; you often come up with new ideas to improve our service quality, and know how to get your teammates behind them
  • You are comfortable managing multiple projects and simultaneously dealing with the pressure of delivering excellent service to our customers
  • You are a native French speaker, and business fluent in English. Additional language (German, Italian, Dutch) is a plus
  • An experience in Consulting is a plus
  • An experience in the Insurance industry is a plus

What the job involves

  • As part of the project management team, you will be the cornerstone of client relationships
  • As a project manager, you will anticipate risk, communicate with both external and internal parties, develop and manage implementation plans, guide roadmap execution, and assist with identifying client needs
  • Work closely with our growing team to help increase our footprint in the French-speaking market
  • Manage overall delivery of the solution by linking Shift Technology’s and clients’ technical teams
  • Participate in stages of project selling (define project methodology and organization, validate client requirements, develop SOW, etc.)
  • Play a role in shaping the internal workings of the company by executing on strategic internal projects to help us become more effective as a company

Our take

The global insurtech market is projected to grow substantially given the increased demand for insurance service digitisation, projected market expansion, and developments in technology that have made it easier to buy and process claims. Insurtech helps create new avenues that large insurance companies have less incentive to pursue, such as offering social insurance and customised policies for clients.

In January 2021, Shift Technology introduced the Shift Insurance Suite to help the insurance industry apply AI-based decision automation and optimisation technology solutions. This addresses critical processes across the insurance policy lifecycle, as well as helps insurers to achieve faster, more accurate claims and policy resolutions.

Shift Technology is focusing on continuous deployment in the UK and the US, whilst exploring opportunities in Singapore, as it attempts to become an international player in the market. However, it must stave off a number of major competitors to do so, including Quantemplate, Slice and Neos.
