What the job involves

  • Guidewire is looking for an EMEA based Senior People Business Partner to join our People (aka HR) team. This role will partner directly with our executive team as a trusted advisor, business consultant, coach, and change agent
  • This position will also drive and influence cross-functional initiatives across the People function that serve the ongoing development of our talent and culture at Guidewire
  • Understand and translate business goals into holistic, integrated, measurable talent strategies focused on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent and overall business performance
  • Bring the EMEA leadership team together to align on business priorities, culture, and overall needs of the region
  • Focus on scale and growth, including strategic planning, talent assessment & calibration, change management and team effectiveness
  • Works globally, but helps others understand the reason to implement local nuances
  • Uses data-driven diagnostic tools and processes to develop, assess, and monitor solutions that continuously improve org effectiveness. Address gaps and emerging skills needs through practical action and use of Degreed and AI tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align our culture and performance with our rewards and reward strategies
  • Influence the design and lead execution of innovative talent management strategies and processes to develop world-class talent, using organizational design models and action planning
  • Analyze people data and industry trends; develop proactive solutions to further support business objectives. Lead the functional view for outcomes of annual and quarterly “listening” insights
  • Partner with key business partners (Finance, Legal, and COE partners) to leverage their support in executing HR strategy and business operations
