  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a content writer, copywriter or similar, either in-house or at an agency
  • The ability to write with a strong tone of voice, think creatively and pay impressive attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills to help you manage your schedule and priorities, collaborate with stakeholders and deliver high-quality work on time
  • The capability to work well within a team, but the agility to also work independently
  • The confidence to ask lots of questions so that you fully understand project requirements. (There really is no such thing as a silly question at MiQ!)
  • A desire to keep pushing your writing skills further, and learn more about the industry
  • If you have experience of writing for B2B businesses or in the tech sector that would be a bonus, but it’s not essential

What the job involves

  • We’re looking for a Copywriter to join our Global Marketing team
  • We’re a global company with offices all over the world, so it’s important the whole business consistently speaks with one voice
  • You’ll help make that possible
  • Although we’re a B2B company, we want our voice to be as far from the standard jargony, techy, corporate business voice as possible
  • You’ll bring warmth, clarity and personality to the world of ad tech, showing that MiQ isn’t your average programmatic partner
  • As part of this, you’ll be adept at taking complex, technical information and turning it into clear, compelling stories
  • The content you produce will attract, educate, and inspire brands and agencies, showing MiQ off to the world
  • You’ll be part of the global marketing team, working with colleagues in the US, Canada, UK, India, and beyond
  • Day-to-day role, you’ll work most closely with the copywriting and design teams, but you’ll need to speak to everyone
  • To find the right information, tease out unique stories and produce impactful content, you’ll collaborate with MiQ experts in our commercial, product, trading, DEI and Center of Excellence teams
  • Content and marketing writing - Creating content that supports our brand, commercial and tech messaging, and our global marketing strategy and campaigns
  • This will include: e-books, blogs, whitepapers, reports, video scripts, adverts, case studies, pitch decks, emails, social posts, one-pagers, newsletters and other collateral
  • Creative ideation - Working as part of the creative team to come up with ideas for content, marketing executions, and other brand initiatives that will attract attention. Proactively thinking about how we can re-purpose previous content, and ways of working
  • Industry education - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, constantly seeking out and taking opportunities to build your knowledge of programmatic
  • Quality assurance - Supporting the business with proofreading and quality assurance of all content we’re putting out into the world, especially making sure we’re always using the brand tone of voice and not slipping into corporate-speak or tech-jargon
