Who you are

  • The ideal candidate will deeply understand global brand management, content marketing, integrated marketing communications, and digital marketing strategies
  • 12 years of experience in brand marketing, content marketing, marketing communications, and/or brand management, with at least 5 years of experience specifically in B2B tech marketing, preferably in cybersecurity
  • 7 years of leadership managing high-performing brand, content, marketing, or creative teams
  • 7 years experience preparing and presenting to executive-level stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strategic mindset, able to align brand and content marketing initiatives with broader corporate goals to connect brand and content to demand in order to drive business growth
  • Flexibility by easily pivoting between high-level strategic thinking and vision setting to execution with an eye on outcomes and details. Okay with ambiguity, and generally thrive in it
  • In-depth understanding and empathy with BeyondTrust's ideal customer profile(s), obsessed with the customer’s point of view, and creating story frameworks that compel the customer to act
  • A proven track record in creating innovative and targeted brand programs that generate measurable results
  • Proven ability to strategically plan, create, and implement marketing plans and briefs
  • Translation of brand and content research findings into actionable brand and content marketing opportunities
  • Excellent team management and leadership skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams
  • Strong organizational skills with a deep understanding of the strategic value that operations, processes, and tools can bring to a marketing organization
  • Financial acumen with the ability to analyze internal team and external agency budgets with an eye for efficiency gains and cost savings across brand and content marketing workstreams
  • Clear and compelling communicator, with the ability to inspire and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Stellar project management, communication, and presentation skills. Highly collaborative and super humble. Best when working collaboratively across the marketing and GTM team

What the job involves

  • BeyondTrust is seeking a Sr. Director of Brand & Content Marketing to lead a team of marketing experts in showcasing the breadth and impact of BeyondTrust technology as the world leader in intelligent identity and access security
  • The team will be responsible for driving always-on campaigns to inspire customers and employees through engaging and relevant content
  • This role is instrumental in driving BeyondTrust brand awareness, shaping relevant and positive perceptions of the BeyondTrust brand, and fostering loyalty across key customer segments and markets
  • Unified Brand Narrative: Lead the development and execution of BeyondTrust's global brand marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, initiatives, and market trends
  • Brand & Content Marketing Strategy: For brand-first marketing efforts, help define brand GTM strategy, audience, market opportunities, customer journey, success measurement, and the resulting content plan. Leverage relevant KPIs and customer insights to ensure the health of the corporate brand as well as its continued evolution
  • Brand & Content Storytelling and Engagement: Showcase BeyondTrust’s impact by developing compelling content, thought leadership, and storytelling that yields growth of BeyondTrust brand awareness and relevance
  • Drive qualified traffic and engagement through organic marketing initiatives across owned digital channels, including social, web, newsletters, and events, while connecting brand to demand

  • Brand and Content Partnerships: Guide partners on brand priorities across BeyondTrust products, categories, solutions, and corporate brands
  • Integrate and leverage partners for high-impact programs to engage our audience through relevant co-branded acts and co-marketing programs. Collaborate internally with Global Partner Marketing to drive partner brand simplification and clarity
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a high-performing team of brand and content marketing professionals responsible for creating category-defining brand experiences and compelling content
  • Identify and implement operational and process efficiencies that lead to continuous improvement in cross-team collaboration
