Who you are

  • Significant experience (10 years +) within B2B marketing with scaling or scaled SaaS companies
  • Proven ability to drive lead generation and customer expansion and retention in B2B SaaS products within EMEA at scale
  • Ability to work and collaborate cross functionally but also within a complex matrix environment
  • Tangible experience expanding into new countries and / or territories
  • Proven ability to grow, lead and develop a team of marketers to deliver results against objectives
  • Educated to degree level within a marketing related field
  • Experience across the whole of the EMEA region beyond the U.K
  • Deep understanding of enterprise marketing combined with SMB and mid-market

What the job involves

  • Our International markets are an integral part of Klaviyo’s go-to-market strategy and we're looking for a world-class Senior Marketing Director, EMEA to build and drive our marketing strategy across the region
  • This is a key role within the Marketing organization that will report directly to the CMO
  • This individual will have full responsibility for developing, executing, and reporting on demand and awareness across the region
  • As the Senior Marketing Director, EMEA you will be working as the strategic leader in the region and have a passion for value-driven narrative and bottom-line impact
  • Working in partnership with global marketing functional leaders you will develop a strategic regional marketing plan to contribute to demand generation, revenue pipeline, brand awareness & customer marketing
  • Build out yearly marketing plans with budget and headcount requests, in line with the regional targets
  • Report to key stakeholders on the successes and failures of marketing campaigns, using data to back up your arguments and future initiatives
  • Build and develop a strong team of regional marketers to drive marketing initiatives. Disciplines in the region today are, event, content and partner marketing
  • Partner with EMEA Sales leadership to identify the key levers to grow the pipeline across the EMEA region
  • Strategise and build/oversee regionally relevant marketing materials to promote and accurately convey product features and benefits, including client communications, press releases, white papers, case studies, byline articles, web copy, blog posts, monthly newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, product sheets and conference materials
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to achieve regional revenue goals. Partner with product and partnership teams to create and execute go-to-market plans for new and updated products
  • Build regional story and narrative to position our products
  • Plan & execute locally relevant events, webinars and ABM events
  • Manage regional customer marketing
  • Working with the localisation team globally
  • Involve, empower and hold team members accountable for their contributions
  • Orchestrate implementation of supporting technology platforms and resources
  • Measure and regularly report the impact of the marketing activities

In the process, Klaviyo's customers get a deep understanding of their consumers.

Klaviyo is a fast-growing company mainly due to its business model - the firm offers a concrete ROI for Klaviyo’s clients if the software persuades customers to make purchases by treating different types of customers differently. An IPO in 2023 has led to Klaviyo's release of Klaviyo AI, which empowers businesses to unlock revenue-driving opportunities and deliver exceptional customer experiences across channels. Still in its early days of public listing, it will be interesting to see how Klaviyo fares in the years to come.
