Who you are

  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Design background and ability to execute across channels
  • Excellent writing, editing, and content creation skills
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities
  • Proficient in content optimization, distribution, and performance tracking
  • Experience managing a team of content professionals
  • Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM, and web analytics tools
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field

  • The Senior Content Marketing Manager at Medely is responsible for developing and executing the content marketing strategy, working with stakeholders around the marketing team and company
  • This person will develop tactics and collateral that will drive awareness, engagement, and demand generation for our products across both sides of our marketplace and SaaS offering
  • Types of content will include thought leadership writing, design, web, blog, social, etc
  • This role interacts with multiple marketing and business partners around the company, including senior leadership
  • Develop and own the content marketing strategy and socialize it across the business to multiple departments and leaders
  • Own the creation of content and editorial calendar to support campaigns, lead generation, and the buyer's journey
  • Manage an external team of content writers, SEO vendors, designers, and video producers to ideate, create, and distribute compelling content across multiple channels (blog, website, social media, email, etc.)
  • Conduct research to deeply understand the target audience, their pain points, and the competitive landscape to inform content themes and topics
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to produce high-quality, authoritative content that educates and engages the audience
  • Utilize SEO best practices to optimize content for search and discoverability
  • Analyze content performance data to continuously improve content strategy and identify new opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date on content marketing trends and make recommendations to enhance the company's approach
  • Manage Medely’s social media coordinator for B2B and B2C efforts and a roster of healthcare influencers
  • Own the design template and brand system across the business

Medely provides health professionals with an online portal for finding work. Nurses and allied healthcare providers can utilize the platform to secure a job when it suits them and at their preferred rates. Healthcare centers use the system to find suitable employees, manage their workforce, and track billable hours.

There is a worldwide nursing shortage, with burnout common among healthcare professionals, leaving many healthcare employers to increasingly rely on data-driven recruitment tools such as Medely. By offering greater flexibility, and bringing casual work to healthcare, the company aims to reduce shortages and increase industry retention - even giving workers who previously left the sector a way back in.

Medely has secured a good stance in the field of the nursing gig economy, with several thousands of hospitals and outpatient facilities using the company for their staffing needs. That said, with a collection of competitors such as IntelyCare, CareRev, and Nomad - all of which also offer marketplaces for health care workers - Medely must work hard to continue growing its presence.
