Who you are

  • 4-6+ years of experience in growth marketing or performance marketing
  • Proven track record in managing successful paid social campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision making
  • Experience in developing and scaling new marketing channels
  • Proficiency in A/B testing methodologies and statistical analysis
  • Excellent communication and project management skills

What the job involves

  • We're seeking a skilled Performance/Growth Marketing Manager to join our performance marketing team at Apartment List
  • This is a high-impact role critical to driving new renter growth and expanding our market presence
  • The right candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our acquisition strategy, optimizing our marketing spend, and directly contributing to the company's bottom line
  • Your work will be instrumental in connecting more renters with their ideal homes and accelerating Apartment List's growth trajectory
  • This role will be key in driving our user acquisition strategy through paid social channels, exploring new growth opportunities, and shaping our messaging to increase user engagement and conversions
  • Drive new renter growth by managing and optimizing paid social campaigns, with a primary focus on Meta and YouTube, continuously refining strategies to maximize ROAS
  • Identify and develop new marketing channels from 0 to 1, expanding Apartment List's reach and diversifying our acquisition mix
  • Design and execute A/B tests across various touchpoints to improve conversion rates, user engagement, and overall campaign performance
  • Analyze data to uncover growth opportunities, refine strategies, and provide actionable insights that inform decision-making at all levels
  • Develop and present recommendations showcasing progress, results, and strategic initiatives to leadership and cross-functional partners
  • Work cross-functionally with brand, finance, analytics, product, and engineering teams to align marketing efforts with overall business goals and leverage technical capabilities
  • Own and be accountable for key performance metrics related to user acquisition, cost per acquisition, and overall marketing efficiency
  • Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and best practices
  • Contribute to the development of our overall growth marketing playbook, sharing best practices and learnings across the team to elevate our collective performance
