  • A Bachelor's Degree, with 8+ years of experience in a strategy, business operations, program management, and/or consulting role
  • MUST have experience creating, implementing and refining internal operating rhythms (ideally including implementing quarterly planning & goal-tracking systems and tools (MUST)
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to understand strategic business drivers across disparate businesses, questioning how we are working rather than simply executing
  • Ownership mentality, with the ability to identify and solve challenges independently and execute with minimal guidance
  • Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, adapting approaches to meet varying needs within a complex business environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with a proven track record of effectively interacting with and presenting to Senior leaders across different teams
  • Sharp analytical and problem solving skills, with a strong bias for action

What the job involves

  • Chime is seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our People Team, Program Management Office (PMO)
  • Your primary focus will be to build, stand up, and run a portfolio management system to monitor and report progress against Chime’s People Team priority initiatives
  • You will also be responsible for managing a series of internal operating rhythms
  • Your role will involve heavy cross-functional collaboration, connecting the dots to advance the right work, and articulating risks that may prevent us from achieving our long term, high impact priorities
  • With a unique vantage point over forums that monitor our most critical initiatives, and member value driving programs, you will serve as a trusted advisor for all functions and leaders
  • You will influence faster decision-making, foster better cross-organizational collaboration, balance organizational capacity, and ensure key stakeholders understand how their work impacts our highest priorities
  • You will be a coach and a player
  • Internal systems are operating smoothly, you will also take on programs and ad hoc projects aimed at Chime’s People Programs and improving operational velocity
  • Shape the vision, brand, strategy, and execution of the enterprise project management function at Chime
  • Develop and implement established portfolio management systems and frameworks to enhance strategic alignment and execution across the organization
  • Build process to unlock velocity, not create overhead
  • Optimize and drive Company level operating rhythms, including quarterly and monthly business reviews and other forums, ensuring effective oversight of progress towards goals, key risks, opportunities, and dependencies
  • Coordinate with senior project managers and program management teams to translate strategic direction into clear and aligned priorities, drive stakeholder alignment, and ensure appropriate measurement to track progress
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies and implement necessary changes and ensure we have appropriate resource allocation plans
