• We are looking for someone who has built from 0, not managing simply from what other's have built. We are looking for engineers with CI/CD building experience
• Over time, we expect this role will be pulled into internal app development, so experience integrating applications together via API is a major bonus in any candidate that applies
• Bachelor’s or equivalent work experience
• Ability to work long hours and weekends as necessary
• Willingness to learn new skills and grow into greater responsibility

Desirable

• As a DevOps Engineer you will be assessing current systems and processes, and developing ways to improve them. In this role, there will be a big focus on automation
• This role would also have kubernetes deployment involved in the day to day
• Over time, we expect this role will be pulled into internal app development
• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
• Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
• Working with developers and other IT colleagues to oversee code releases
• Writing specification documents
• Testing and examining code written by others and analysing results
• -identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
• Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions
