Role

Who you are

  • Ideally, you are an experienced risk management professional who thrives in fast-paced environments. With an established track record of consistently delivering high-quality work, you’ve played a pivotal role in driving and shaping an organisation’s risk management initiatives. Here’s a list of skills and experiences we’d be looking for:
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in a risk management related role with a particular focus on technology, execution, and operational risk
  • A working knowledge of risk management best practices within financial services and/or other sectors
  • Strong communication skills and experience in working with a wide range of stakeholders, including the executive management team

Desirable

  • A good understanding of the payments sector
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and desire to work in a growing technology business
  • Experience in improving various aspects of the end-to-end risk management process
  • Any certifications related to risk management from institutions such as GARP, IRM, IIA etc. will be a bonus

What the job involves

  • You will join Form3’s dynamic Risk & Regulatory Team and be at the forefront of shaping our Enterprise Risk Management Framework. As a key player, you’ll collaborate closely with our experienced Risk & Regulatory Lead, spearheading a range of responsibilities including:
  • Designing effective control testing approaches and executing control tests in line with the agreed testing approach and schedule, working closely with other business units and functions
  • Documenting the outcome of the control tests including the identification of controls gaps and recommendations to improve the control environment
  • Supporting the Risk & Regulatory Lead in assessing the control gaps and overall impact on residual risk profile of the organisation
  • Supporting the Risk & Regulatory Lead in the preparation of various risk reports including, but not limited to, quarterly and annual risk reviews
  • Identifying effective Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to measure risk exposures
  • Updating the Risk Register with outcomes of control tests and risk exposures measured through KRIs
  • Maintaining the functional Risk Logs working closely with other business units and functions
  • Supporting the Risk and Regulatory Lead in the identification and implementation of various initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Risk and Regulatory function
  • THE TEAM 👥
  • The Risk and Regulatory team is a key team that works within the broader Legal function that works closely with the rest of the company to embed a robust enterprise risk framework and assess developments in the regulatory environment that are relevant for Form3. The team works remotely but meets up occasionally a few times a year for social events

  • Stage 2: Zoom interview with Hiring Manager and Team Member (includes a case study that will be shared before and a competency-based interview)
  • Stage 3: Zoom interview with another key stakeholder within Form3
  • Stage 4: Final interview with Chief Legal Officer
  • We always aim to stick to the above process, however there may be occasions when an additional interview stage is needed for us to be sure we’re hiring the right person!
