Who you are

  • 3+ years of outside sales management experience with complex hardware and software solutions
  • Demonstrated sales management experience selling into areas with limited or no market penetration

What the job involves

  • As a District Field Sales Manager, you will be hiring, building and coaching a team of Territory Account Executives that is transforming the way restaurants operate
  • You’ll be a player/coach working closely with your sales team to help them understand a restaurant’s unique needs and develop a customized solution that helps their business thrive. We need your passion and sales management expertise to help us build the Toast brand in your district
  • Hire, manage and develop a quota-achieving sales team
  • Attract and retain elite Account Executive talent
  • Coach a team to run effective discovery meetings, live demos, and craft a bespoke solution to restaurateurs using Toast’s varied tech offerings
  • Innovate and execute on a go to market strategy, ultimately developing demand within the Vancouver marketplace
  • Manage partnerships with other tech providers to generate referral demand
  • Leverage Salesforce to track, audit, and influence the business
  • Partner with our Onboarding and Care team leaders to deliver a world class customer experience
  • Leverage knowledge of Toast’s product and business to replicate success internationally
  • Help build the foundations for our internal processes in international markets

They studied at MIT before co-founding Klick Mobile in 2009 and spending almost 7 years at Endeca. They left their Management role in June 2012 having co-founded Toast in May.

Having studied Computer Science at MIT, they worked at Endeca for 5 years. They moved from working as Product Manager to work full-time as President of Toast in 2013, having co-founded it the previous year.

They also studied Computer Science at MIT before working as an Engineer for Endeca for over 4 years. They worked at Oracle for 5 months prior to co-founding Toast in May 2012.
