• This role requires a strong technical background and a proactive approach to safeguarding our cloud environment
• 5+ years of cloud security engineering experience
• 8+ years of experience working with a public cloud infrastructure
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Golang, Java, Ruby, Python, or PHP
• Experience in securing containerized applications and orchestration platforms, such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar tools
• Experience with networking and Unix/Linux servers
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Open, humble, and candid approach to communication

• As a Staff Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security measures to protect our cloud infrastructure and data
• You’ll be responsible for configuring and maintaining cloud security tools, helping to secure our cloud networks and manage edge defenses to protect against external threats, and ensuring compliance with our standards, as well as assisting in defining those standards
• Additionally, you will collaborate with other teams to identify and mitigate risks, and stay updated on the latest cloud security trends and threats
• Evaluate, deploy, and manage cloud security tooling to enhance the overall security posture
• Collaborate on risk assessments and threat modeling
• Assist other teams in identifying & solving security issues in cloud infrastructure in a manner that complies with business requirements
• Implement and manage cloud network security measures to safeguard the network from threats
• Design and build security infrastructure and controls
• Create automation to solve security problems
