Who you are

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Product Designer
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Ability to discuss and explain design options clearly
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creative thinker with a vision and attention to detail
  • Experience with HTML5 and CSS3 is a plus
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
  • Tools: Highly proficient in Figma
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your design process, UI design skills, and ability to solve complex design problems
  • Experienced in working in startups or fast-growing companies
  • Knowledgable of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to bridge the gap between design and development
  • Experienced with motion design or animation

What the job involves

  • Global Work Environment: Due to Snappy employees being in Tel Aviv, London and across the US, we schedule all company-wide meetings and events in EST. We do our best to respect and accommodate your personal time. You might be expected to work outside of normal working hours from time to time
  • User Interface Design: Combine UX thinking with design execution to produce usable and intuitive user interfaces
  • User Testing: Plan and run user tests and other design research to inform design decisions
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to design and implement product features for our gifting platform
  • Design System: Collaborate with the rest of the design team to evolve and refine our design system, ensuring visual cohesion and engineering efficiency across all user touchpoints
  • Process Development: Help build out design processes, tools, and culture
  • Communication: Communicate design solutions to engineers and stakeholders effectively
  • Prototyping: Design and prototype elegant solutions for enterprise and consumer apps
  • User Understanding: Understand user needs and incorporate them into design decisions
  • Brand Alignment: Work within brand guidelines to create layouts that reinforce a brand’s style or voice through its visual touchpoints
  • Agile Methodology: Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

International startup Snappy is a platform that helps clients use AI and demographic data to select and send employee gift proposals, which are not finalized until accepted by the employee. The platform can be integrated into existing HR platforms which helps streamline the budget and impact of corporate giving – which totals over $125 billion annually.

The proven potential of the right gift to clients and employees is something larger corporations appreciate – and the likes of Microsoft, Adobe, and Uber are already Snappy clients. Snappy has seen its business enjoy substantial year-over-year growth, and its demonstrable success shows that Snappy is answering real market demand for impactful gifts and is leveraging its edge over more impersonal competitors like gift card services.

If it continues as planned with refining its gift selection algorithms and expanding its product partnerships, Snappy stands to capitalize on the lucrative market of corporate gifting – and shape it, too, as remote-first working develops.
