Role

Who you are

  • Ideally, you have 2+ years of experience in the design and development of enterprise applications using the React framework, JavaScript, React Hooks/Redux/MobX, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience with Java, Spring, API design, JMS, Camel, Leveraging AWS infrastructure is an advantage
  • You have Database application development experience with SQL or NoSQL databases
  • You have experience with git or other version control tools
  • You have experience with automated unit and integration testing
  • Having knowledge of Batch Processing Patterns is an advantage
  • Having knowledge of Linux and shell scripting is an advantage
  • You have a passion for learning and introducing new technologies

  • We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in expanding and improving our Recognition & Celebrations solutions
  • This team is at the heart of how Workhuman helps our customers build and sustain cultures of gratitude
  • These teams design and deliver innovative solutions that enable our customers to spread a culture of recognition and celebration within their workplaces
  • An opportunity to work on frontend activities, developing and maintaining user-facing features
  • An opportunity to contribute to the frontend community to implement and maintain frontend best practices
  • An opportunity to work with distributed development team continuously delivering solutions that will enhance our SaaS platform capability
  • An opportunity to partner with our business team and be part of the design discussions/decisions as well as implementing the designs
  • An opportunity to partake in UX/UI ideation sessions
  • An opportunity to contribute to sprint planning & backlog refinement sessions, daily stand-ups and retrospectives with our technology teams (Dev, Automated QA, UX/UI, Product)

  • You have collaborated openly with the team on shared items of work and communicated well in a team-oriented environment across locations
  • You are accomplished at delivering well-defined complex tasks with a good level of independence
