What the job involves

  • As one of the early members of the commercial team, you’ll help shaping our go to market approach and our solutions for our customers

  • You’ll work closely with our client solutions team and business development colleagues to enter and scale our presence in market segments, growing the business and achieving revenue objectives
  • Deliver against sales objectives as an IC
  • Lead the development of new business in specific industry sub-segments
  • Identify target clients and thoroughly research to pre-qualify as part of an outbound account based sales strategy

Salary benchmarks

Our take

Griffin is working to change the banking world, which they see as exclusive, opaque, and not particularly technology-friendly. Their aim is to lower barriers to entry for fintechs and increase transparency.

To achieve this, they are designing a wholesale bank from the ground up, focusing on the problems their customers face and following steps to solve them.

Griffin is taking a novel approach, offering a bank-as-a-platform model with integrated compliance to allow customers to get their financial products to market quickly and cost-effectively.

Their systems have the capability to move faster than existing banks burdened by legacy tech and provide new opportunities to financial technology firms over a wide range of business models.

Jenna Baker (Chief People Officer )

  • Our goal is for Griffin to proportionally represent the diversity of the working population in society. We’re working to ensure that Griffin is a supportive, empowering and inclusive environment for every member of our team — whatever your intersection of identities & background. If you're part of a group that is under-represented in fintech, we'd love to hear from you.
  • We offer enhanced parental leave for Grifflings - you’re able to take 26 weeks of parental leave. This increases to 52 weeks if you are based in the UK AND you are the birthing parent, the primary-caregiver adopter, or if you and your partner decide to use UK’s Shared Parental Leave.
  • We'll pay you in full for 13 weeks of parental leave, and then the greater of 50% pay or London Living Wage for the following 13 weeks, provided you’ve been with us for 6 months on your expected due date or placement date.
  • If you have been with us for two years (or more!) by your expected due date or placement date, we will pay you in full for 26 weeks of parental leave
  • We are flexible with our approach to work, work from home, the office or a shared working space, it's really up to you! We also are flexible on what hours you work too, we understand that life can sometimes just get in the way and you need to be able to pick up the kids from school.
