Role

Who you are

  • 6+ years of ad tech sales experience, including quota driven sales, full product suite sales, hunting/farming HoCo accounts, sales strategy, planning, inside sales
  • Consultative approach to sales with deep technical aptitude
  • Experience working with programmatic platform technologies including DSPs, SSPs, and Ad Serving
  • You have great passion for programmatic advertising and a strong understanding of the industry landscape
  • Detail oriented and well organized, comfortable working independently, and have the technical aptitude to learn new technologies
  • Experience working with healthcare/pharma marketers and their agencies a plus

What the job involves

  • The Director, Agency Partnerships at DeepIntent is a strategic sales leader focusing on securing and growing Agency Partnerships with large healthcare agencies and agency holding companies (Hold-Co)
  • This role involves driving sales across DeepIntent’s end-to-end platform for both self-service and managed services
  • The individual in this position will need to deeply understand the platform’s capabilities, pitch effectively to potential clients, and close deals
  • Additionally, the role requires collaboration with various internal teams, including Client Partnerships, sales support, account planning, account management, and product teams, to ensure the success and growth of our agency partnerships
  • Acquire, build, and cultivate relationships with mid-senior and senior level agency partners at holding companies, independent agencies and healthcare marketers
  • Ability to independently design, negotiate, and execute a Joint Business Partnership (JBP)
  • Independent judgment and high degree of initiative in resolving issues and in making recommendations for solutions
  • Experience in managing large agencies
  • Negotiate commercials on MSAs and Agency Partnerships
  • Able to grow and maintain high revenue generating book of business
  • Upsell existing business to leverage revenue growth
  • Deep technical aptitude to sell DeepIntent’s product suite
  • Proven track record for exceeding revenue targets
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews with existing clients to demonstrate the value of their investments within our platform
  • Develop long-term relationships with new and existing clients through managing and interpreting their requirements
  • Additional Expectations:
  • Respond to RFIs/RFPs
  • Assess competitors and market trends, for emerging sales opportunities
  • Represent DI at industry events (panels, conferences etc) both as an attendee AND have the ability to do speaking engagements

Our take

Pharma companies have traditionally lagged other industries when it comes to programmatic advertising use. That has much to do with the unique targeting and regulatory requirements of these companies.

In many ways, it's a situation which means that pharma companies are relatively poor at a central plank of their wellness service - communication. It's from this angle that DeepIntent was created to solve this issue.

The startup is building a marketplace that combines offline health data with online identity, allowing media buyers and sellers to transact within a single privacy-safe, data-rich environment.

DeepIntent’s strategies for growth revolve around expanding this marketplace. That means onboarding more suppliers of both types of datasets, arranging new transaction channels, and winning more healthcare buyers. In 2023, it launched the DeepIntent Operating System, which will help Connected TV platforms analyse audience measurements and optimise pharmaceutical advertising performance.
