Who you are
- Experience working with customers or partners or market research in a tech (B2B or B2C context)
- Experience with business to business (b2b) market research (some consulting background is a plus)
- Detail-oriented with exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Dedicated team player who strives to enable others to do their best work
- A passion for, or experience with, drone or aviation is a plus but not required
What the job involves
- In this role, you’ll work with Skydio’s Tech Partnerships team to advance various projects around strategy (market research) and operations (partner enablement, partner marketing, sales enablement)
- Research partners in key verticals, conduct outreach and help initiate discussions with new partners
- Research and structure customer demands for cellular and other connectivity use cases
- Competitive analysis of other UAV players with regard to partnerships and integrations
- Develop content to support enablement and go-to-market (GTM) with our partners
- Respond to inbound customer requests around integration needs
- Engage with customers and partners to understand and document end to end partner integration use cases and requirements
- Help develop joint GTM plans with one or more Skydio partners
- Update and create reports on Salesforce (our CRM system) to help us ensure we have all of the right information for our partners

The drones are also valuable to search and rescue efforts, police forces, and the US army.
Backed by a range of top investors and strategic partners (including Andreesen Horowitz, Levitate Capital, and Next 47) Skydio sets itself apart from its competitors by marketing its products predominantly to businesses. With technology such as 3D scanning and a 360-degree superzoom mode, its drones have a wide range of applications and functionality.
The company raised funding in 2023, which has boosted its valuation to over $2 billion. It has since focussed on R&D, developing and launching the X10 model which is designed for first responders and the military, as well as enhancing its remote control and thermal imaging capabilities. As the largest American drone company, there is no reason Skydio shouldn't remain a key industry actor for years to come.
