Role

Who you are

  • ✔ 4+ years in a People and HR Role, ideally within a fast-paced or startup environment
  • ✔ Fluent in German (mandatory), with good English proficiency
  • ✔ A strong expertise with HRIS platforms and maintaining accurate employee records
  • ✔ Ability to work independently and develop internal optimisation projects with minimum supervision
  • ✔ Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage different priorities effectively
  • ✔ Good understanding of German labor laws and compliance standards

  • As our People and HR Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in creating a seamless employee experience, ensuring that our HR processes run smoothly across the organisation

  • Own and support all stages of the employee journey (onboarding, personnel requests, development, retention and off-boarding), ensuring a seamless, positive experience for every JOINer
  • Support employer branding initiatives by coordinating campaigns, maintaining careers page content, and collaborating with the Talent Acquisition team to amplify JOIN’s culture and values internally and externally
  • Maintain and optimise our HRIS (Personio) and internal systems (e.g., surveys, review cycles, comms tools), ensuring employee data is accurate, updated, and well-organised
  • Prepare and analyse People metrics (e.g., attrition, time off, demographics) to support data-driven decision-making and deliver regular insights to leadership
  • Continuously improve People processes by identifying inefficiencies and contributing to the development of streamlined, scalable workflows
  • Ensure legal and policy alignment by supporting the development, enforcement, and regular review of HR policies in accordance with German labor law and JOIN’s internal standards
  • Coordinate internal logistics for People-related initiatives, including trainings, internal comms, team-wide activities, and company events, to foster alignment and engagement across teams
