What the job involves

  • As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading efforts on our core conversational marketing product offering
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target audience and differentiates our product from competitors
  • Talk to our customers
  • Work with our Head of Marketing to create compelling product content, such as blog posts, whitepapers, and case studies
  • Work with our Head of Growth to Identify opportunities for growth and customer engagement, and develop strategies to capitalize on those opportunities
  • Some examples of where you will lead;
  • How does Connectly fit into the competitive landscape and what story do we tell to make the differentiation clear?
  • What growth experiments should we run and how do we measure success?
  • What does the Sales team need from the Product side to excel at selling Connectly?

Our take

Most SMBs cannot afford to run a full customer service team and, for this reason, messaging is becoming a vital way for these businesses to communicate with their customers. However, turning these messages into revenue isn't easy, which is where Connectly comes in - solving this problem using AI.

Connectly was founded by ex-Facebook and Uber executives, which has lent the company considerable insight and credibility. By targeting SMBs, the company has tapped into a large market that has been underserved by marketing AI in recent years. Connectly has now partnered with WhatsApp, and accrued impressive early funding, both clear indicators of the company's promise.

Connectly's main challenge will be competing with other tech companies who are making moves into the SMB market. However, the backing of WhatsApp and investors such as Marathon Venture Capital should help to ensure that Connectly remains as competitive as possible in the future.
