What the job involves

  • Corelight, Inc is seeking a skilled, experienced Director of Sales Engineering to manage a diverse team of Sales Engineers who promote, sell, and create customer satisfaction with the company’s products
  • You will provide guidance and a roadmap to success regarding the implementation of our products
  • This will include presentations, product demonstrations, assessment of potential application of Corelight solutions, and the development of account plans
  • Recruit and hire new systems engineers into the territory, help educate them on providing technical expertise through Sales presentations, Solution designs, Solution demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts
  • Manage the Sales Engineering team. Set objectives, measure performance, and reward productivity in the SE team
  • Provide effective technical leadership in customer meetings – sharing security trends, competitive, and product information
  • Fill in for absent SE's as needed
  • Lead employees to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment
  • Act as an escalation point for pre-sales technical issues from the field
  • Work with the sales teams to strategize on best sales approach for the business
  • Maintain knowledge of competitive landscape and share with the team

Corelight is a software company that integrates machine learning into cyber and cloud security. It develops NDRs (Network Detection and Response systems) alongside virtual, software and cloud sensors to better protect enterprises and institutions.

The company's most popular product is the Zeek Network Security Monitor, which is used by the likes of Amazon and Mozilla. It is also continually developing new products (such as a Cloud Sensor for Amazon Web Services) as the nature and complexity of cyber threats continue to grow.
