Who you are

  • 3+ years of experience in an analytical role, also in cross-functional teams
  • You can put analytical results into clear storylines which can be used to be communicated into the market
  • You have first experience in conception and the set up of communication strategies to bring data to a broader audience
  • Outstanding communication, prioritisation and project management skills

What the job involves

  • The role of a (Senior) Strategic Business Analyst (d/f/m) is your opportunity to become a key player in our Analytics Team
  • You will support mobile.de to shape our strategy and bring data and influential insights in the market
  • Be the analyst in a team of different analytical experts, who drives the usage of data and insights from data to the next level
  • Be the point of contact to our Comms & PR Team to shape the communication of data and insights in the market
  • Support external agencies by providing data and insights to support creation and publication of insightful market reports
  • Strong communicator to tell data stories and liaison with analysts and tech people alike
  • Synthesise data from various sources (market research, competitive intelligence, etc.) to extract insights and derive actionable business measures
  • Together with a team of analysts you support on ad-hoc analysis and impactful reportings
  • Influence the company strategy by conducting overarching analysis that helps the mobile.de Leadership Teams to make data driven decisions
  • Your ability to “connect the dots” between the different businesses in mobile.de, enables you to have a holistic understanding of the business and challenge the status quo in terms of data usage and interpretation

Adevinta Spain is part of the global Adevinta family, which is publicly listed in its native Norway. The company as a whole is one of the world’s largest classified marketplace companies, boasting a portfolio of around 50 brands in over a dozen countries, and employing close to 10,000 people.

The Spanish arm owns a number of the country's top digital classifieds marketplaces including Fotocasa, InfoJobs, and Milanuncios. At a time when larger companies are acquiring scores of eCommerce startups – a concept dubbed “eCommerce rollups” – it’s really interesting that Adevinta seems to have made quite the head start.

Indeed the fact that Adevinta isn’t going after D2C brands, but the marketplaces themselves, is clever. Considering that well over $2 trillion is spent annually on online marketplaces, Adevinta Spain (as well as Adevinta as a whole) is operating from a position of strength in an extremely lucrative market, especially since a buyout by Blackstone and Permira in November 2023 was initiated. This will further bolster Adevinta's position as a market leader under strong new ownerhsip.
