Who you are

  • 1+ years of experience or commensurate education in writing, communications, corporate marketing, customer marketing, or public relations with a focus on existing customers
  • Genuine interest in cybersecurity and delivering on an outstanding experience for customers
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills, with an understanding of how to adjust to engage varying audiences
  • Familiar with Marketing or Campaign tools (e.g., Marketo, Hubspot, Marketing Cloud, etc.)
  • Thrives in a multitasking, fast-paced environment and can adjust priorities on-the-fly
  • Detail-oriented and analytical
  • Strong team player but still a self-starter

Desirable

  • Previous security industry experience or endpoint security-specific experience
  • Exposure to technical ideas and concepts and familiarity with Information Technology and/or Security sectors
  • Familiar with Customer Success, CRM, and surveying tools and platforms
  • Experience with Marketing or Campaign tools (e.g., Marketo, Hubspot, Marketing Cloud, etc.)
  • Experience in communicating with audiences from diverse cultures
  • Experience with Totango (or other Customer Success tools) and Salesforce
  • Experience with Canva or Figma
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Experience with reporting tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
  • Professional competency in one or more foreign language(s)
  • Experience with HTML and/or CSS

What the job involves

  • SentinelOne is growing its Customer Communications team and is looking for a Customer Communications Associate to support our efforts for educating and communicating with our customers in order to enhance their lifecycle
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Product Management, Engineering, Security Research, Marketing, Services, and others to support the execution of communications to all SentinelOne customers
  • Draft systemic and recurring communications to keep customers informed and educated on the latest updates and enhancements
  • Develop and execute ad hoc surveys soliciting customer feedback and analyze results for follow-up action and discussion in executive-level reporting
  • Undertake other responsibilities, as required

Cybercriminals are now leveraging the power of automation to make the current threat landscape too advanced for a lot of legacy antivirus software. SentinelOne is a cybersecurity company that matches this automation, with machine learning-focused software that is built to help businesses battle online attacks.

The company expanded the scope of its business from the endpoint security market to three markets valued at a combined $30 billion, including the corporate endpoint security and IT operations management markets. This gives SentinelOne a bigger potential customer base, although also puts them in direct competition with more focused cybersecurity companies, in addition to its biggest competitor, CrowdStrike.

When the company went public, it made financial headlines as the highest-valued cybersecurity IPO ever, which gave SentinelOne a market cap of $10B, though it's now fallen to around $4B. It has subsequently launched S Ventures, a $100M fund, through which SentinelOne invests in cybersecurity startups and has expanded its partnership with major tax firm KPMG to accelerate cyber investigations and responses to threats.
