To revolutionize how data is used to optimize health and performance.
Sam Franklin
CEO of Otta
Thanks to advances in wearable and other data-gathering tech, we’ve seen ‘big data’ balloon to truly vast amounts of the stuff, with some crucial insights available for those who can dig them out. This is true of sports, too. Except that on top of improving athlete performance, data can also help players reduce the risk of injury.
Kitman Labs has developed a performance analysis platform for precisely this purpose, furnishing teams and management with performance, competition, and training analytics, as well as injury risk assessments and treatment guidance. They also have a team of 100+ performance experts to support customers (coming from positions including athletic directors, coaches, scouts, and sports scientists).
Following the strategic acquisitions of both The Sports Office and Presagia Sports, Kitman Labs has created the industry's largest dataset of talent, performance, and medical data for all stages of the athlete lifecycle. The platform is used by over 700 elite teams including the NFL, English Premier League, and Premiership Rugby, as well as military organizations.
