Who you are

  • An accomplished SaaS Account Executive who takes ownership of a sales process aimed at making life better for customers via delivering an ROI?
  • We're looking for motivated, self-starters who are curious, willing to learn, embrace a challenge and have the desire to earn!
  • 5+ years of experience of full cycle sales experience, preferably in banking, financial services or a highly regulated industry
  • Strong understanding of governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) concepts and processes; this is a critical component to hit the ground running
  • Prior engagements with Community Banking, Credit Unions or Regional Banks
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels of an organization
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and a drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed

What the job involves

  • As a Sales Account Executive at Themis, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our business by identifying and securing new clients
  • You will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with prospective customers, understanding their needs, and effectively conveying the value proposition of our software solutions
  • This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the expansion of our innovative platform in the governance and risk management space
  • Follow and improve our Sales Process; you will bring your ideas to the table
  • Prospect and qualify leads to build a robust pipeline of potential clients with exceptional ability to lead the prospect through the sales process in a consultative manner
  • Thoroughly understand the needs and pain points of prospective customers, along with the key decision makers and buying process
  • Engage with decision-makers and stakeholders to articulate the benefits of Themis software solutions
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations customized to the specific requirements of each prospect
  • Negotiate commercial contract terms and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction and long-term partnerships
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and market developments to effectively position Themis products in the marketplace
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics on a consistent basis

Our take

The demand for financial compliance tools has increased dramatically since the Financial Crisis. Yet, current technology offerings fail to capture the way officials dealing with this issue actually work.

In response, Themis offers pay-as-you-go compliance for banks, fintechs, and crypto startups. In particular, Themis allows compliance-focused employees to manage workflows effectively while emphasizing collaboration amongst compliance staff both within firms and between them and their partners and regulators.

The company is now focused on expanding its compliance features to focus on crypto startups. In the opinion of Themis’s leadership, there is a great deal more work to be done in this area beyond just the current focus on know-your-customer and anti-money laundering efforts.
