Who you are

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
  • Five or more years of accounting experience
  • Experience with leadership roles and display problem-solving capabilities
  • Must have ERP AP system experience, Netsuite is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and time management skills
  • Well planned, organized with keen attention to detail

What the job involves

  • Spring Health is looking for an AP Manager to join our growing accounting team
  • The AP Manager will be tasked with helping to scale the Accounting department and be critical in implementing new Accounts Payable processes and efficiencies
  • Reporting to our Director of Financial Operations, this role will be an integral member of our accounting team and help us achieve our goals as we continue to experience rapid growth
  • Manage and supervise the accounts payable clerk
  • Lead regular trainings to company on accounts payable systems and policies
  • Maintain the accounts payable general ledger and corresponding reconciliations
  • Lead and drive the 1099 prep and filing processes on an annual basis
  • Maintain team Q&A page for internal intranet and update as needed
  • Own the weekly and monthly check run process for our vendors and providers
  • Oversee all payment transactions such as ACH, wires, paper checks, etc
  • Responsible for T&E analysis, supporting documentation, approvals and ensure that T&E requests adhere to company policy
  • Maintain vendor files and improve vendor onboarding processes and compliance
  • Collaborate with the Procurement team for alignment and improved workflows
  • Be active on the customer service front with timely communication

Additionally, existing support systems are usually generalized, failing to deliver the personalized mental healthcare that individuals need.
