What the job involves
- As a Staff Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of critical systems and infrastructure
- In this role, you will maintain the health of production environments while also driving improvements to the overall reliability and efficiency of those systems
- You will also direct and improve production operations and DevOps processes
- This fully remote role reports to the Director of Strategic Operations
- Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software through DevOps and production operations
- Set technical direction for DevOps and production operations, including observability and instrumentation strategies
- Ensure overall reliability and scalability for systems developed, including on-call rotation, to support Enterprise-grade SLAs
- Take initiative, prioritize and manage workloads, and meet project deadlines
- Work directly with customers, while building strong partnerships with product and engineering

With over 100,000 customers, Jasper is used by a number of high-profile companies such as Google, IBM, and Airbnb. While ChatGPT has been dominating the news space surrounding generative AI, it has significant limits resulting from overburdened servers and a long waitlist to use the product - whereas JasperAI provides faster results and is readily available. The company is well set to see further growth as it rides the rising popularity wave of generative AI.
