Vice President of Finance & Strategy, Fivetran

• 15+ years of experience in Finance, Strategy, Business Operations, FP&A, Investment Banking, or Management Consulting
• Proven leadership experience with a track record of building and scaling high-performing finance & strategy teams
• Deep understanding of SaaS financial metrics, including ARR, retention, LTV, CAC, and unit economics
• Expert-level financial modeling skills and experience analyzing complex data to drive strategic decision-making

• Fivetran is seeking a strategic, results-driven VP of Finance & Strategy to lead corporate planning, strategic finance, FP&A, finance operations, investment allocation, and management reporting
• Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this role will drive financial decision-making, optimize resource allocation, and enhance growth and operational efficiency as we scale
• You will go beyond traditional FP&A—combining financial strategy, business insights, and operational excellence—to guide executive decision-making, growth planning, and financial scalability
• You’ll oversee revenue forecasting, investment planning, and key business metrics while leading board reporting, executive insights, financial system automation, and influencing corporate strategy
• This is a high-impact, cross-functional role, partnering with teams across GTM, Product, Operations, and Engineering to align financial strategy with business objectives
• Build and lead the Finance & Strategy function, developing a world-class team to drive financial planning, forecasting, and decision-making
• Own and enhance financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, delivering actionable insights to leadership
• Drive company-wide strategic planning, ensuring financial objectives align with business growth and operational priorities
• Develop and refine revenue forecasting models, integrating insights from Sales, Marketing, Product, and Partnerships
• Partner with Revenue Operations to set revenue targets, optimize pricing strategies, and design scalable sales compensation structures
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, assessing financial viability, return on investment, and strategic fit
• Implement and optimize financial processes and systems (including planning and budgeting software) to improve forecasting accuracy, reporting, and automation
• Support board and executive reporting, delivering clear, data-driven financial insights that support decision-making
• Collaborate with GTM, Product, Engineering, G&A, and Operations to ensure financial strategies support broader business goals
• Support M&A, fundraising, IR and investment decisions, leading financial modeling and due diligence
