Who you are

  • We’re looking for a visionary Staff Product Designer who has a proven track record in designing and executing future product vision
  • This person is strategic, collaborative, data-driven, and understands how to balance user needs with business objectives
  • 6+ years of product design experience building products and working with engineering teams to take ideas from conception through execution on mobile app
  • Experience working on “0-1” consumer products in a startup environment
  • Experience leveraging user research and quantitative data to inform design decisions
  • Strong proficiency with Figma (our primary tool) including prototyping, design systems, and other tools for design and documentation (Figjam, Notion, Jira, Confluence, etc.)
  • Comfortable in agile environments with rapid iterations and delivery
  • Experience mentoring, guiding, and delegating to other designers
  • Self starter with strong collaboration and communication skills

What the job involves

  • The goal of the product design team is to transform our Super App into a cohesive and engaging product that guides our users through our fintech and travel experiences
  • This app is relatively new, and there’s a lot of work to be done designing new features, building links between experiences and improving the overall quality of our product

  • This designer will play a key role in designing a future vision for the Super.com super app, to bring together our products cohesively, connect our suite of products seamlessly, and bring a level of delight to the app experience
  • This role will also be responsible for working with brand and content designers to bring our brand to life and foster customer trust and loyalty
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including product managers, engineers, brand designers, a content designer, data analysts, and other designers to craft end-to-end experience that engage our customers and optimize for conversion and other key metrics
  • With consideration of our products and business goals, define a new north star app experience that ties our suite of products together cohesively
  • Strategically leverage the existing design system, and expand it to create a north star for the app
  • Strategically balance where we are today, where we aspire to get to, and the path to get there without disruption or negative impact to the business
  • Partner with designers from across the organization to gather requirements and understand the user needs and the business requirements to inform your design
  • Raise the quality bar through collaboration with designers from across all product verticals
  • Use Figma to iterate and create new designs and prototypes to share with stakeholders and partners for alignment, and with customers for insight gathering
  • Communicate effectively with partners and stakeholders for alignment, and to set and manage expectations
  • Work with a content designer to create a branded narrative throughout the experience design
  • You will leverage data analytics and UX research to deeply understand user needs, then directly apply those insights to designs that deliver clear measurable value, both to our customers and the business
