Role

Who you are

  • HashiCorp is looking to hire a Partner Alliances Manager with a comprehensive understanding of DevOps and Security to manage the technology partner ecosystem for the Secure Product Group. This product group includes Vault, Radar, and Boundary
  • To be successful in this role, you will need a good understanding of the security technology landscape with an appreciation for technical ways in which HashiCorp products can get integrated with partners
  • This role requires a blend of strong technical expertise, hands-on experience with integrations, thorough program management capabilities, and relationship-building skills
  • 5+ years of industry experience working with relevant technology companies in the DevOps and Security domains
  • Strong proficiency in understanding architectures and technical details related to security, DevOps, and cloud
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of building strong relationships and influencing partners
  • Self-motivated leadership qualities and comfort working in a fast-moving, results-driven environment
  • Knowledge of existing HashiCorp tools, with a solid understanding of their technical applications. Coding experience, particularly in Go, is a plus but not required
  • B.S. degree in an engineering or similar program from an accredited college/university, or equivalent experience

What the job involves

  • This is a full-time position and will report to the Sr. Manager of Technology Alliances
  • Technology partners are a critical component of HashiCorp’s Infrastructure Cloud vision and constitute the cross-infrastructure fabric for realizing this vision
  • You will also provide support for co-marketing activities and scale your partner portfolio within the HashiCorp Technology Partner ecosystem
  • Drive integrations between key technology partners and products in the Secure Group
  • Execute engineering activities, including the ability to guide, build, review, and test the technical integrations with partners
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and sales, to define technology integration strategies and scale the program
  • Collaborate with partner marketing teams to help with joint marketing campaigns
  • Provide feedback to internal HashiCorp teams to bring awareness of new needs, leading to innovation and successful partnerships
  • Note to candidates: this role does not have sales quota carrying responsibilities and is not a sales or partner sales position
