Who you are
- Experience of at least 5 years in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field
- You are a creative problem-solver with a solution oriented approach
- Proficiency with tools such as Looker Business Intelligence/Tableau, Google Analytics, and BigQuery (SQL)
- Experience working and collaboration with diverse teams, effectively English
- You can judge when a topic requires 100% and when 20% is sufficient and can slice big projects into smaller pieces and make your work and progress transparent
What the job involves
- We are looking for a passionate Senior Business Analyst (d/f/m) to join our mobile.de Analytics team in Berlin
- You will report to the Business Analytics Manager
- You will be part of the mobile.de analytics team, supporting the qualify, communicate and transact cluster, a cross-functional unit composed of different teams of tech, product, business, marketing and operations professionals in mobile.de
- The cluster's mission is to qualify consumers' needs, and establish seamless and valuable connections between buyers and sellers, empowering successful and joyful transactions
- You will help the cluster teams align our KPIs, qualification, and lead handling strategies, improve the customer experience, and uncover new business opportunities
- We work toward end-to-end responsibility, and we believe in failing and learning with a growing mindset
- Act as a business partner within the cross-functional team, striving for insights that challenge our understanding of the business
- You will challenge our understanding of transactional businesses, to reveal and implement new business opportunities together with your partners
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and creation of comprehensive analyses and reports for stakeholders
- Build self-service dashboards that allow the team to track the progress and effect of their initiatives
- Become part of a growing global analytics community, dedicated to providing a creative analytics environment. We work toward self-service analytics and data-driven decision-making

Adevinta Spain is part of the global Adevinta family, which is publicly listed in its native Norway. The company as a whole is one of the world’s largest classified marketplace companies, boasting a portfolio of around 50 brands in over a dozen countries, and employing close to 10,000 people.
The Spanish arm owns a number of the country's top digital classifieds marketplaces including Fotocasa, InfoJobs, and Milanuncios. At a time when larger companies are acquiring scores of eCommerce startups – a concept dubbed “eCommerce rollups” – it’s really interesting that Adevinta seems to have made quite the head start.
Indeed the fact that Adevinta isn’t going after D2C brands, but the marketplaces themselves, is clever. Considering that well over $2 trillion is spent annually on online marketplaces, Adevinta Spain (as well as Adevinta as a whole) is operating from a position of strength in an extremely lucrative market, especially since a buyout by Blackstone and Permira in November 2023 was initiated. This will further bolster Adevinta's position as a market leader under strong new ownerhsip.
