Role

Who you are

  • 4+ years of full-cycle sales experience within software or security industry
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Progressive selling experience engaging with accounts and selling at C-Level

Desirable

  • Security and/or networking domain experience
  • Startup experience
  • Proficient in sales methodology: Command of the Message, Force Management, etc
  • You have established relationships with current and prospective customers
  • You understand the bigger picture, customer goals and how technology can facilitate them
  • Proficiency in strategic sales planning with experience closing net new logos
  • Experience meeting or achieving sales targets and using channel partnerships
  • Remote friendly in the Bay area and willingness to travel

What the job involves

  • We're looking for an Account Executive to join the Twingate GTM team
  • Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will:
  • Build relationships with important internal and customer stakeholders, including c-suite decision-makers
  • Create a long-term territory and account strategy aligned with customer goals
  • Collaborate with our teams to meet customer needs and contribute to account planning
  • Be a trusted advisor, understanding client businesses and aligning the Twingate platform with their goals

Our take

Despite massive technological advancements over the past few decades, the access control model used by companies has seen little progress. Twingate offers a modern solution for securing remote access to an organization’s private applications, data and environments, with potential to save time and money when running it.

A cloud-based service, Twingate’s aim is to eradicate the use of virtual private networks (VPN) as the solution of choice. Although not dissimilar to a VPN, Twingate enables users to set a software-based perimeter instead of risky VPN gateways and allows companies to control, to the smallest of details, who can govern access. Twingate’s model is unique as it grants access to an asset instead of a network, reducing the effects of a potential security breach to a single resource.

Twingate has seen impressive growth due to interest in zero-trust security, as companies move to meet the demands of distributed, hybrid work. It has already accrued customers including Bitpanda, Blend, Bloomreach and Cameo, with funding going towards growing its product as well as launching operations in Europe and Asia-Pacific.
