Role
Who you are
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting
- Experience with financial analysis, forecasting and planning
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Proven leadership skills
- Effective communication skills, written and oral
- Experience in Adaptive Planning and Workday is a plus
What the job involves
- The Financial Analyst, FP&A is responsible for assisting with the expense forecasting, budgeting, and analysis for functions such as Sales, Marketing, R&D, and IT
- This person will work with the Finance Director, to provide financial feedback for key business managers, internal business partners and Datasite leadership
- They will support cross functional initiatives by gathering and reporting relevant financial data and metrics
- Monthly cost reporting against budget, prior year and forecast with variance analysis and commentary
- Monthly revenue recognition analysis
- Partner with functional leaders to review monthly results
- Assist with financial modeling of budgets and quarterly forecasts to support strategic initiatives
- Partner with Accounting and payroll to support accruals and reclasses during month-end close
- Partner with analysts from other regions and teams to successfully achieve results
- Design and prepare routine and ad hoc analysis and reports of operating and financial results
- Build relationships with functional leaders to help drive the budget and forecasting process
