• We’re seeking a highly motivated Engineering Manager who can lead a team to drive large, strategic, and complex projects from end-to-end. This position requires a high level of leadership, empathy, mentorship, and helping to design and architect scalable solutions
• Our ideal candidate should be able to take a broad idea from concept, to plan, to implementation
• 5+ years of engineering people management experience of teams 20+
• 8-10 years of full stack software engineering experience developing web-based applications across multiple languages and modern tools
• Meaningful experience with a part of our technical stack: Javascript, Node.js, Ember.js, React.js and PostgreSQL
• Experience working on SaaS applications in an agile environment
• Experience managing remote and geographically dispersed teams
• Ability to communicate complex technical ideas effectively to non-technical audiences

Desirable

• Technical Leadership: Willingness to get hands-on in the code with the team to provide ground-level direction and feedback when needed. Build a strong understanding of our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and use that to inform technical and product direction
• People Leadership: Ensure your team is well-supported and able to work effectively. Manage and develop a diverse team of engineers through hiring, retaining, mentoring, and continually building the team and individual’s capabilities
• Partnership: Develop and nurture relationships with Product, Design, QA, Customer Success, Sales, etc. to deliver the best-in-class experience for our customers. Work closely with Product Management to set meaningful goals and objectives for the team. Proactively identify and advocate for collaboration opportunities with other teams
• Process Improvement: Iterate and improve on software development processes within the team and across the organization to deliver outstanding results for our customers
